Phillip Goodrum

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Phillip is CEO of iBenefit Communication. Under Phillip’s leadership, iBenefit has grown to become one of the nation’s most recognized and respected benefit communication and engagement organizations.

Phillip has a diverse background leading multiple businesses in the technology, insurance and healthcare sectors. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications from The University of Tennessee and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the Jack C. Massey School of Business at Belmont University. Phillip resides in Charlotte with his wife and five children.

Derek Buckowsky

Principal

Derek is a Principal and Partner of iBenefit Communication, focusing on business development and operations relating to implementation and plan execution. He has been in the insurance business for eighteen years, with over twelve years in the middle and large market insurance brokerage services. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Babson College. Derek and his wife live in Charlotte with their three children.

Andrew Bender

Chief Financial Officer / Chief Operating Officer

Andrew has 15 years of experience, primarily in Finance and Strategy roles at investment banking and management consulting organizations. He leads the iBenefit finance and accounting teams while also managing the benefit counselor teams and processes.

Andrew holds a degree in Finance from The Ohio State University where he was captain of the varsity lacrosse team, and an MBA from Harvard University. He lives in Charlotte with family, coaches middle school lacrosse and is an active member of his church.


 

Christin Driedger

Controller

Christin has over a decade of financial management experience and has spent the past four years in the insurance industry focusing on Group Benefits, Property & Casualty and Asset Management.

She has a strong understanding of platform integrations, mergers & acquisitions and driving organic growth.

Christin currently resides in Charlotte, North Carolina.


 

Derrill Snyder

Vice President, Sales

As the National Sales Director at iBenefit Communication, Derrill is focused on helping employers deploy a benefits strategy to improve bottom line spend and employee engagement. Derrill has been in the industry for 15 years and has a strong background in counselor-assisted solutions, benefits administration technology, ancillary benefits and worksite products.

Derrill lives in Columbus, OH with her husband and their three children. When not working, you can find Derrill shuttling kids to activities in her swagger wagon and sneaking in some reading time in between.

 

OUR SALES TEAM

Nicole Hendrickson

Sales Director

Nicole has over 10 years of experience in the insurance industry. Prior to joining iBenefit, Nicole spent 7 years in the onsite and shared clinic business, working with clients and brokers to build, implement, and manage large, integrated healthcare clinics for clients. She currently oversees the Midwest region for iBenefit, working with brokers and clients to deliver communication, engagement and enrollment services.

Nicole double majored in History and Political Science at Muhlenburg College and resides with her family in Milwaukee, WI.

 


 

Carol Pinkerton

Sales Director

Bringing more than 35 years of healthcare experience, Carol spent the previous 16 years in the behavioral health management business, last serving as Practice Leader of Managed Behavioral Health Plans. Carol has served on several boards and enjoys community service, including the board of directors for FOCUS on Recovery, Inc., as well as co-chair on the Alabama Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Carol attended UAB and began her healthcare career working as part of a surgical team in private practice for 15+ years. She resides in Birmingham, AL with her extended family nearby and in the region.
